Bambarra Beach, Middle Caicos

This month’s fine art image of the month was captured on Middle Caicos, Turks and Caicos’ largest inhabited island. Most tourists who have visited TCI have never set foot on what is one of the most unique and beautiful islands in the country.

Bambarra Beach which is located on the north east shore of Middle Caicos might just be the most beautiful beach in the entire world! And for good reason, it was recently voted as the #1 Beach in the Caribbean in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards 2025. The beach has some unique qualities that make it stand out among the many other amazing beaches in the Turks and Caicos. For one, it is rarely crowded because it is usually frequented by just a few locals and some adventurous tourists. What it lacks in the amenities that you would expect from a resort side Caribbean beach, it makes up for with its calm, clear, warm water, and plenty of room to spread out and relax.

At low tide you can walk close to a mile out to sea to visit Inner Cay, the small island which is located in the middle of the Bambarra Beach’s vast bay. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enjoy what is one of the world’s best beaches the next time you visit Turks and Caicos!

Turks and Caicos?

Valentine’s Day Cup 2/22/25

This annual model sailing boat regatta is a great fun family day out for both locals and visitors alike. Join in and cheer on your favorite boat as competitors navigate and chase their boats around a shallow water course on beautiful Bambarra Beach. There will be plenty of friendly competition, camaraderie, excitement and most certainly, a a few mishaps! Located on the island of Middle Caicos, it’s a 30 minute ferry ride away from Providenciales, so plan ahead and make a day of it! There’ll be food and drinks from local beach vendors as well as games, music and good vibes all day long!

Where Is This Photo From?

This picturesque spot is located on one of the more remote, yet inhabited islands which can be visited in a day trip via ferry from Provo. Of course it's always better to allow more time to explore by spending a night or two!

On this beautiful shore, you'll most likely have the beach to yourselves and at low tide can walk out to the rocks which is fun for rock pooling.

When arriving at this breathtakingly scenic spot, it's easy to see why it's one of the most photographed places in Turks and Caicos! This is Mudjin Harbour on Middle Caicos, with Dragon Cay in the background - a must-visit spot when touring this island. This image is taken from inside the cave at the bottom of the beach path, the perfect spot to just sit and watch the waves lap up on the beach all day long!
