What Have We Been Up To?

We had fun photographing the friendly team and brand-new cars of Kia Motors. It was a nice change from our regular portraits and weddings. Jeans was able to fly his drown inside for an amazing picture of the showroom full of cars waiting to go to their happy owners.

Outfit Inspiration Of The Month

For this month's outfit inspiration, we selected this family of four who had perhaps unexpectedly coordinated perfectly with the lighting of their evening portrait session. The two adorable girls in their pastel blues made for the cutest photos together, but also tied in with their father's shirt and the ocean as the sun went down and became a more muted blue.

Meanwhile, the mother's gorgeous dress matched beautifully with the color tones of the sunset light, drawing out the oranges and gold. Together, the family are in sync with their environment whilst still wearing clothing which really suits them too. South West Point, Providenciales

The Turks and Caicos Islands are unique is many ways. They are essentially small land masses slightly above sea level that, geologically when viewed from under the ocean sit atop a 7000 foot mountain. Another unique feature of these islands is the fact that there are no natural fresh water lakes or rivers on any of the islands. Each island is surrounded by shallow seas, salt ponds and salt water swamps. This month’s fine art image of the month was taken of the setting sun from the western edge of Chalk Sound looking toward the southwest corner of Providenciales. It clearly shows the salt water shallows that make up this still-undeveloped part of the island. In one way or another all of these waters connect to the Atlantic Ocean to the north or to the Caicos Bank to the south.
