What Have We Been Up To?

We were honored to photograph the first corporate event and buyout at the newly opened Salterra Resort in South Caicos. For three days, we covered the activities, awards, and lavish reception for this impressive 200-person corporate incentive program by one of the top recruiting firms, Jobot. We loved working with the friendly resort staff of the newest Marriott property in the Turks and Caicos.

Outfit Inspiration Of The Month

We all know how important moms are. We loved the outfit inspiration this fun mom, Brandi, chose for her family photos. She used a pink palette for herself and her husband and then added a vibrant pattern for her daughters' matching Lily Pulitzer dresses. Brandi tied everything together with her bright green statement earrings, which complemented the pattern of her girls’ dresses. Her choice of wearing a bold color that stood out truly enhanced this beach portrait session.

Dragon Cay, Middle Caicos

Middle Caicos is the largest island in the Turks and Caicos. At just over 100 inhabitants, it is the most sparsely populated island in the country. It is famous for dramatic cliffs on the northern coast and vast swaps and mangroves to the south. Recently, Bambarra Beach on the north east coast has laid claim to the world’s most beautiful beach. Middle Caicos also has the largest above-ground limestone cave system in the Bahamian archipelago. But perhaps the most well-known feature of Middle Caicos is Dragon Cay, a rocky outcrop in the shape of a dragon which is located in the 3 mile long section of beach called Mudjin Harbour. This image of Dragon Cay was taken just after sunset. The long exposure helped to smooth the rough waters into what appears to be mist hovering over the water.

Taste of Tapas May 31st

If you consider yourself in any way a “foodie” or if you just appreciate good cuisine, you do not want to miss this annual event! Taste of Tapas is a wonderfully indulgent evening where top hotel and island restaurants set up cooking and serving stations to offer the most delicious tapas at the elegant Shore Club resort. It is a fundraising event to support the TCI culinary team on their journey to the Taste of the Caribbean regional competition, so know you’re supporting the islands’ upcoming local chefs as well as having a fabulous evening out!

Taking the path through the lush grounds of this resort, it opens up to this breathtaking vista where the bright aqua water stretches as far as the eye can see. For those fortunate to experience this special place in Turks and Caicos, this is Parrot Cay, a private island, accessible via 30-minute ferry from Providenciales. It has a luxury resort and is the second home to several well-known celebrities who choose to own a villa in this peaceful and scenic place.
